Gretchen Andrew’s Facetune Portraits: Universal Beauty uses oil painting to critique AI-driven beauty standards. By pairing real and digitally altered faces of women from 100 countries, she exposes how technology erases individuality in favor of a uniform ideal. The series challenges the notion of a global beauty standard and sparks dialogue about identity, authenticity, and digital influence.
